Hello there 🙂
There is no other red carpet comparable to the Fashion Awards as this is an evening celebrating the most creative and innovative design talent in the UK and the rest of the world. This is the one night of the year when fashion is the star of the show, offering celebrities and industry greats the opportunity to show off their most beautiful, cheerful rags and peacocks in pieces that usually do not end up on the red carpet. This is not a night out to play safe in a nude fishtail dress – you're more likely to see a neon green tulle dress than a little black dress.
This is no different this year, and if anything, everyone has set a pace higher. As expected, we saw many megastars in designer showstops and of course the usual star cast with cool Britons. Rihanna wore a mint green satin dress with Fenty crystal straps while Julia Roberts wore Armani jumpsuit with sequins. In fact, sequins were the theme of the night when Alexa Chung wore a black sequin dress from her own collection, Rosie-Huntington Whiteley a golden sweeper, and Sandra Oh a complicated purple sequin and lace dress.
