Hello there 🙂
Ordering basics on Amazon isn't easy when it comes to shopping. The options are huge and things can get overwhelming quickly, but I'm here to help. My No. 1 tip is to narrow down the offers for Amazon Fashion's own brands. A lot of its brands are basics-heavy brands, and in my experience the quality is surprisingly good given the price.
While browsing Amazon Fashion recently, on one of the first crisp autumn days of the year, I added three basics that caught my eye: a fluffy gray sweater, dark washed straight leg jeans, and a thick fleece sweater that looks like something I do maybe (from a good point of view) stolen from my husband's closet. When they got to my doorstep two days later I was so pleased with my purchases that I decided to leave some reviews. Keep scrolling for my unfiltered thoughts on the items and shop for them yourself.
My review: You wouldn't really know if you look at the picture on the model, but this fleece sweater (I wear a small size) is surprisingly thick and cozy. In fact, I would recommend it as a jacket rather than an indoor sweatshirt. The fleece has a nice, full texture and I found it very well made and not as bulky as I imagined when it was removed from the packaging. My only complaint would be that it isn't lined with fleece but has a polyester lining which isn't quite as nice but not a deal breaker.
My review: I donated a lot of sweaters late last winter so I needed a refresh of some basic styles. I noticed this immediately, with its chic mock neck and slightly puffed sleeves. (I'm wearing a small size.) Gray is on trend this fall, so I went for it. When I unpacked it, my first thought was how soft it was. It's fluffy and warm, but also light enough to put inside. It's also great length (for reference, I'm 5 & # 39; 4 ") and looks cute with skinny jeans and ankle boots as you can see.
My review: Designer denim is expensive for a reason – it's made from high quality materials and expertly sewn. With that in mind, it's understandable that affordable denim can be a hit or miss. But hoping for a hit, I took the plunge and ordered this pair (a size 26 for reference). I liked that they were a bit loose on the model. They were closer to my skinny jeans. So if I were to order them again I would probably go up a size for a more relaxed fit. They're pretty stretchy (and comfortable), but they didn't stretch that much in the hours I wore them. My verdict is that I would recommend going one size up if you want a fit that is similar to that of the model.
Next up: I'm 5 & # 39; 4 "and my colleague is 5 & # 39; 9" – these are the $ 50 Amazon pants we both love.
