A celebrity hairdresser shares her dreamy wedding routine with skin, hair and make-up 2019

Hello there 🙂

On the 5th of July A real who's who of the American hair and make-up industry gathered in Prague to celebrate the wedding of one of their own – the famous hairdresser Sunnie Brook. The LA-based hair guru (whose celebrity clients include Elisabeth Moss, Allison Williams, and the Hemsworth brothers) married designer and photographer Miki Bauer while wearing a Carolina Herrera dress, Valentino shoes, and a Chloé bag later slipped into a figure-hugging Pnina Tornai, clothe herself at the front desk to cut a rug.

Brook wore a smoky eye, a radiant skin, and a rosy lip, and wore her hair in long voluminous waves for the ceremony, before tucking it into a beautiful updo fitted with a hair piece of her own that ended the night We have exclusive access to Brooks wedding beauty routine– A look behind the scenes as she reached her dreamy European mood. Keep scrolling to see how she did her look, from skin preparation to make-up and hair.

The goal for Brooks skin was pretty simple: to look fresh, hydrated, awakeAnd not at all that she had just traveled 15 hours from Los Angeles to Prague. She achieved this with only three natural products. She first applied Skyn Island's peptide- and antioxidant-rich Hydrp Cool Firming Eye Gels to her eye area and allowed it to work for 10 minutes. Then she moistened her skin intensively with Epicuren's Ultra Rose Treatment Moisturizer, which is loaded with herbal treats such as collagen, amino acids and rose extract. She teamed up with Epicurens Moisture Surge Hyaluronic Acid Gel to lock in moisture all night long.

Some people are brides with red lips; Some people are no-makeup make-up brides. Brook was a sultry but simple bride with smoky eyes.

Brook planned that one of her celebrity makeup artists would do her make-up, but because of an air accident (these are international weddings for you), In the end, she had to make-up herself. Fortunately, the look was pretty easy to put together: she kept the skin in shade 4 with Kosas' Tinted Face Oil. The concealer was YSL's lightening Touche Eclat. She held back her cheek color with a shot of Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector.

Although Brook's smoky eye looks complex, it's just an overlay of shades from Diors 5-Couleurs palette in Golden Flower (no longer available, although the Undress palette is similar). She focused the darker shades on the outside of her lid, sticking out of the lid in cat-eye shape and placing lighter shades towards the inner corner, which mingled with a transitional shade in the center of the lid.

She also applied a portion of the dark shadow directly under her eye near the lash line, which stretched to about half of the lash line. She applied a shimmering white hue directly to the inner corner for a lightening effect. Brook filled her brows lightly with Diorshow Brow Styler, a thin, precise pencil. For the lips, she applied MAC Lip Liner to all lips for maximum durability, then put on Tom Ford's warm pink Indian Rose lipstick.

Brooks ceremonial hair was inspired by the architecture of St. Thomas Church. "Because it was so artistic and great, I chose a classic modern wave that was brushed for its softness," she says.

To make sure her day was as relaxing as possible, Brook decided not to do her hair. Instead, she left the NYC stylist Jackie Seabrook, a master of the long gentle waves.

Brook has prepared her hair with the Hydrasource Moisture Mask by Biolage, so it looks particularly shiny and soft. Then Tigis Bed Head Superstar Queen was applied to her hair for a day to get more volume. Jackie dried Brooks hair with a T3 dryer and used it T3's Twirl Trio (the 1 1/2 inch wand) to create these big waves; She then brushed it out to soften it. She fixed the style with Kerastase's Laque Couture Hairspray.

Et voila! Brooks romantic ceremony look.

Since Brook had a complete costume change for the reception, she also made some changes to her beauty look. "The party took place on the river in the center of Prague," she tells us. "When I first saw it at night, the lights were beautifully reflected on the water and inspired the 'black-tie bling' clothing." To play this topic, She created a beaded accessory that she twisted into her updo to add shine and dimension.

As a make-up, Brook quickly added Lemonhead sequins to her eyelids to prepare her face for the party.

May the pictures speak for themselves …
