Hello there 🙂
It's official: the days of working from home in my pajamas are behind me. What felt like sheer thrill in the first few weeks of protection quickly became a recipe for sluggish, repetitive days without being able to tell one from the next. Then last Tuesday morning, during an unexpected burst of energy, I got ready as if I were actually going to the office. Granted, our Who What Wear offices have a pretty laid back dress code that wholeheartedly embraces stylish athleisure looks, but still – I was wearing real clothes! As a result, my days became much more productive and positive.
I can now share that I've found the perfect (and realistic) outfit formula that makes for easy styling and super cute results: start with athletic basics (I'm very much into PUMA's Forever Luxe collection right now) and incorporate them just some trendy pieces of clothing that feel pulled together, chic and insanely comfortable. Plus, I'm always ready for anything, whether it's getting my dog done on a job, meeting a friend for a socially distant coffee, or making a last-minute Zoom call without the fear of turning on my video . Just like the five trendy outfits below, the new normal is downright comfortable, chic, and casually cool, and that's what I'm here for. Do you like what you see? Experience PUMA's Forever Luxe collection on the Bloomingdale website and in stores in Beverly Center, Glendale Galleria, SoHo, Willow Grove and Tysons Corner Center.
I've seen so many bra-under-blazer looks this year, especially paired with faux leather leggings. I'm not exactly the kind of bra that really wears me unless an outfit really calls for one. That's why I love adding that sleek PUMA sports bra that will keep this look casual and keep me comfortable all day. A touch of gold jewelry and a pair of white sneakers are the perfect high and low ways to top it off.
Don't underestimate the versatility of a pair of joggers. The styling with trendy combat boots and a training jacket creates a grungy 90s look that is really current. I love the purple pop of color on the PUMA Forever Luxe PUMA sports bra – it goes well with the accents on the track jacket and the contrasting white elements of the outfit.
Biker shorts are the sporty-stylish element that was the top priority this year, and I'm not saying goodbye anytime soon. I like to put on a fancy workout top in the morning to remind myself that I'll actually be exercising that day, and when the top looks as good as this, it's easy to style. I love the oversized workwear jackets that I see all over the place right now, and the corduroy fabric on this one is a nice extra element against all Drycell sportswear.
We're seeing a lot of grunge / punk looks in predictions for 2021 and while they make me miss going to shows with my friends, I'm very excited about them. These slim leggings play with the moto feeling of the platform combat boots and the synthetic leather buffer. Pick it up with a chunky silver chain and this edgy look will carry you through the day into the night no matter what you have planned.
Just because I get dressed every day doesn't mean there aren't days when I'm particularly comfortable. I love wearing old school crew socks with a pair of joggers. This mock neck sweater is super breathable, but I like the way it has a drawstring at the bottom. In this look, you can pull on a pair of white sneakers and run errands or just hang out in the living room.
